This whimsical sculpture was created by Gayle Weitz a gifted artist who lives in Brattleboro, Vermont. It takes Gayle over 500 hours to create each sculpture which are built from bass wood. The amazing part is that each sculpture is a functional cabinet! With cleverly hidden doors held tight by magnetic latches the cabinets hold a good amount of whatever the owner wants to store. Gayle has created a series of "Humanimals" which can be found in her gallery. Gayle's gallery is called Artrageous1 and is located at 57 Elliot Street in Brattleboro, Vermont. You can reach Gayle at 724 650 7011.
