There are several horses on Bonnyvale Road in West Brattleboro, Vermont and I always pause to look at them and often to take a picture or two. This white horse was backlit by the setting sun and I had to take a photograph.
Tom Singleton has been involved in photography for more than forty years. He began with slides, moved to print film, then became involved with black and white film and developing his film and prints in a black and white darkroom. The evolution continued to the digital darkroom where Tom now uses a digital camera to record the images and a computer to edit the work. Through some robust programs color images can be transformed to black and white. Tom says......"I really enjoy doing color work but my real love is black and white and the atmosphere it creates. Through the magic of the computer I can have it all." Tom lives in Brattleboro , VT. He is very active in local photography groups and he exhibits his work in local venues.
