Description
The Dummerston Covered bridge was built in 1872. It is the longest covered bridge in Vermont in use. In 1973 it was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Driving over/under it is like driving in history. Pictured here hours after a snow fall, it glows.

Is this the bridge that goes from Vermont to New Hampshire? I am from Vermont and it looks familiar.
Tom Singleton replied:
NH is not far but this bridge in is Vermont, it crosses the West River in the town of Dummerston. There is a bridge that crosses the CT river ( which divides VT and NH ) above Claremont NH.
