One of the pleasures of visiting Cuba was seeing the old cars. Seeing them and riding in them was like going back to the 1950's. No seat belts, plastic seat covers and an old time experience.
Tom Singleton has been involved in photography for more than forty years. He began with slides, moved to print film, then became involved with black and white film and developing his film and prints in a black and white darkroom. The evolution continued to the digital darkroom where Tom now uses a digital camera to record the images and a computer to edit the work. Through some robust programs color images can be transformed to black and white. Tom says......"I really enjoy doing color work but my real love is black and white and the atmosphere it creates. Through the magic of the computer I can have it all." Tom lives in Brattleboro , VT. He is very active in local photography groups and he exhibits his work in local venues.

You've done well in Cuba. I love the green car and b and w of buggy. Other photographer and painter friends have been in Cuba. I wonder if there will be anything to photograph by the time we get there?

Thanks Blair!
