Artist's Description

The National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia contains the graves of 18,742 soldiers. Established in 1866 there are graves for soldiers from the Civil War through to the Vietnam War. At Christmas time the graves are decorated with holiday wreaths which is a very impressive sight. I like this version in black and white.

Tom Singleton has been involved in photography for more than forty years. He began with slides, moved to print film, then became involved with black and white film and developing his film and prints in a black and white darkroom. Through the magic of the computer I can have it all." Tom lives in Brattleboro , VT. He is very active in local photography groups and he exhibits his work in local venues.
