Artist's Description
David Howe opened what is now the Wayside Inn in 1716. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow visited the Inn in 1862 and wrote "Tales of a Wayside Inn" in 1863. One wonders what tales could be told in this bar if only the walls could talk. The tankards on the ceiling add to the ambiance of the room.
